Bowman Field Flying Club
28th Annual bowman Field Fly-In

August 23 and 24, 2014

Come join us for a weekend of family fun! You will find a variety of aircraft, antique engines and cars, a flea market, games for the kids, free camping and lots of airport camaraderie. We will have helicopter as well as airplane rides. There is even a candy where candy literally falls from the sky! We have a seaplane base with a shuttle, so float planes are welcome! There will be a spaghetti/bean supper Saturday night with a band to follow! All are welcome! So whether you have floats, hulls or wheels mark your calendars and we hope to see you there!

Bowman Field Flying Club Weather

Bowman Field Airport is nestled in the heart of central Maine. It was established circa 1960 by Winn Bowen and Royston "Stubby" Lyman, hence the name Bowman. The field has been maintained by by the Bowman Field Flying Club. The club currently has 35 members and we are always welcoming aviation enthusiast to join.
Bowman Field is a grass strip that is mowed and maintained by our wonderful club members. We currently have 2,101 feet of usable, well maintained runway.  In the winter time it is not plowed, but it is rolled after most every storm and is kept in tip top condition.
