There will be good food and even better company! Club members will do a potluck style lunch! Come and enjoy some of our favorite dishes. We just got 6+/- inches of snow on Wednesday and the field is rolled and in perfect shape! Come and join us for some good old airport camaraderie, if you don't you'll be sorry you missed it!

Bowman Field Flying Club Weather

Bowman Field Airport is nestled in the heart of central Maine. It was established circa 1960 by Winn Bowen and Royston "Stubby" Lyman, hence the name Bowman. The field has been maintained by by the Bowman Field Flying Club. The club currently has 35 members and we are always welcoming aviation enthusiast to join.
Bowman Field is a grass strip that is mowed and maintained by our wonderful club members. We currently have 2,101 feet of usable, well maintained runway.  In the winter time it is not plowed, but it is rolled after most every storm and is kept in tip top condition.
